Delete your account.

You can delete your Café Cal account and everything attached to it at any time. The quickest route is from inside the app. It takes under a minute and needs no reply from us.

How to delete

Two ways out.

From inside the app

Recommended
  1. Open Café Cal on your Android device and sign in.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm in the dialog. Email-and-password accounts re-enter their password; Google Sign-In accounts confirm directly.
  5. Your account and data are deleted immediately, and you're signed out.

By email

If you can't get in

Email us from the address tied to your Café Cal account with the subject “Delete my Café Cal account”. We verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Email a deletion request

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you'd like a copy of your data first, email inandha97@gmail.com and we'll send it as CSV or JSON before anything is removed.

Scope

What happens to your data.

Everything tied to your account goes. A small amount of anonymous diagnostic data, which can't be linked back to you, ages out on its own schedule.

Permanently deleted

  • Authentication record: email, display name, sign-in provider
  • Profile: name, date of birth, gender, height, weight, activity level, goals, preferences
  • All meal entries and meal photos
  • Daily nutrition logs and streak history
  • Saved foods library
  • Weight history
  • Profile photo
  • Local app settings stored on the device

Retained briefly

  • Anonymous crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics), tied to a device install ID rather than your account, kept up to 90 days so bugs can still be fixed.
  • Aggregated analytics (Firebase Analytics) retained on Firebase's default schedule, up to 14 months. These cannot be linked back to you once your account is gone.
  • Records we're legally required to keep: none anticipated for a routine account.
